Aris Asproulis has studied sociology at the Department of Sociology, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (B.A) and his doctorate was at the Department of Social Policy. His interests lie in the field of Sociology of Work, the social impact of crisis in the Energy Industry employees and on implicit contracts in the public sector. Currently he is the Director of Communication and Publicity of the historic Art Theatre Karolos Koun, a publicist and playwright. He has published extensively and has taught on various schools and seminars.
