Panagiota Georgopoulou is an Assistant Professor of Contemporary Social Theory in the Department of Sociology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens. Her research interests include posthumanisms, human-technology relationships, social theory and complexity sciences. She has published many articles in these areas including recently “The Coronavirus Challenge to Modern Anthropocentricism”, Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. Sociology, 14(4), 318-329, 2021. She authored The Complexity Turn in Social Thinking in Greek (Kritiki: Athens 2010).
