Georgios Kouras is a sociologist (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences) and a Primary School Teacher (Aspropirgos). He holds a MA in Social Policy Dept. at Panteion University and a Ph. d. in Social Policy from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. His Ph. D. research, received a Scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) in the Framework of the Scholarship Program "Strengthening Ph.D. Candidates”. He focuses on migration, labour and social stratification. Also, he participated in various seminars and most notably in the seminars held in Durham University at St’ Mary’s College in 2015 and 2016 and at School of Applied Social Sciences in Durham University in 2018, presenting the early findings of his Ph.D. thesis.
