Tassou Asimenia has graduated from the Pedagogical Department of Elementary Education of the Democritus University of Thrace and works as a teacher in Primary Education schools in the island of Lesvos. She has attended training and specialization programs in subjects related to her field. She has completed Postgraduate Studies in "Psychopedagogical, Educational and Intercultural Approaches in Human Sciences" of the Democritus University of Thrace, as well as the Postgraduate Program in "European Societies and European Integration" of the Department of Sociology, Aegean University. She is also an undergraduate student at the Department of Sociology of the Aegean University, while at the same time she is a PhD candidate at the same Department.
