Kaklamanis Stamatina is a Sociologist and Demographer and Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy and Social Studies at the University of Crete. She obtained her Master's degree and Doctorate from Université des Sciences Humaines de Strasbourg, Faculté des Sciences Sociales. She is a Research Associate at the Laboratory of Demographic and Social Analysis, Department of Planning and Regional Development (DPRD), University of Thessaly. Her research interests focus on long-term relationships, labor market and migration, and on the sociology and demographic approaches on development in rural areas of Greece. She has published articles in Greek and foreign journals.
