Aglaia G. Kalamatianou

Aglaia G. Kalamatianou (Ph. D. in Statistics, London School of Economics & Political Science, University of London) is Emeritus Professor of Applied Social Statistics, at the Panteion University of Social and Political Science, Athens. She has served as an academic visitor to the University of Ulster, LSE and UMIST, UK, University of Cyprus, and Milano Bicocca. Her research interests concern the development of statistical models inspired by existing social problems as well as the implementation of social standards through data analysis. More specifically, her work spans Survival models, stochastic Markovian models, multivariate methods, data mining techniques, growth models, the quantitative approach of social research, and their applications to social data.
