Dimitra Lampropoulou

Dimitra Lampropoulou is Assistant Professor of Modern Greek History in the Department of History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Her publications include Constructions Workers. The People Who Built Athens, 1950-1967 (Athens: Vivliorama 2009, in Greek), Writing from the Prison. Political Detainees' Subjectivities 1947-1967 (Athens: Nefeli 1999, in Greek), as well as edited collected volumes on social and oral history in Greek and English. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Contemporary Social History Archives (Athens), a founding member of the Association of Oral History in Greece, and a member of the Cultural and Intellectual History Society (Athens).
