Anna Lydaki is emeritus professor at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences – Department of Sociology. She is interested in field work, cultural studies, folklore, Gypsies, literature and cinema, and she has done qualitative research on areas concerning Gypsies and Muslims on everyday life. She has written extensively on the above topics, and numerous texts in collective volumes, conference proceedings, scientific journals, and articles for the public Press. She has participated in many congresses about methodology, folklore, Gypsies, minorities, cinema and discourse analysis.
