Fotis Milienos

Fotios S. Milienos is currently Assistant Professor in Applied Social Statistics and Quantitative Research Methods, at the Department of Sociology of Panteion University, Greece. He has been postdoctoral fellow under a Marie Curie International Outgoing Fellowship (IOF) and participated as Principal Investigator or member of the research group in various research programs, during the last years. His research interests lie in the theory of time-to-event analysis (cure models), the study of pattern waiting times on sequences/matrices of discrete random variables, scan statistics and applied data analysis from the social sciences. He co-authored a recently published book by Academic Press (Elsevier) on the theory of sequential testing. He is also member of the Editorial Board (Associate Editor) of three international journals published by Taylor & Francis, and he served as reviewer for more than 20 different journals published by Springer, Willey, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and Sage, among others.
