Antigone Mouchtouris , Emeritus Professor of Sociology (University of Lorraine). She specializes in the sociology of culture and the sociology of knowledge. Her research areas are the sociology of popular culture, the sociology of the public and its reception, the sociology of perception and the social dynamics of social transformations. The backbone of her research is the dynamic temporality of social behavior in these areas of research. At the epistemological level, the axis is around the relationships between the social subject and its social environment, particularly the formation of the social individual. She is a member of the French Association of Sociology and the International Association of Francophone Sociologists, (co-director for the sociology of knowledge group).
