Dimitris Milonakis is Professor of Political Economy at the Department of Economics and Vice Rector of the University of Crete. He has served as Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Chair of the Department and Director of the Postgraduate Program. Two of his books have been awarded the Gunnar Myrdal Prize and the Deutscher Memorial Prize respectively. He is a Life Member of Clare Hall, University of Cambridge and Visiting Professor at: the Department of Economics, Cambridge University, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, Lund University, Sweden, Jilin University, China and National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
