Costas Passas is currently an Assistant Professor of Economy and Society in Modern Greece, in the Department of Sociology at Panteion University. He is an economist and has studied in the University of Piraeus (Diploma 2004) and the University of Athens (M.Phil 2006, PhD 2016). His postdoctoral research was funded and awarded by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation and his subsequent research has received grants from the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation. His research interests include Political Economy, Economic History and Social Policy. His research has been published in academic journals and edited volumes by leading international publishing houses.
